A Long Awaited Update

Whoa! I haven't written on here in a loong time! Since June 22! But here's the update on me! I'm now a Freshman at RHS, I'm at the main campus and I'm a Freshman Representative which means I'm on the Student Council. I got my first high school report card and I got a 3.85 GPA. I hate Geometry, and love to play piano still!
I'm also going to the District Honor Band! Which means that for two days I get to go into Bend and play with about one hundred other of the best High School musicians in Central Oregon. I'm really excited! Only four freshman out of the 42 students from RHS are going, it should be a blast!

My Cousins are Here

Book Recommendation

I just read Uprising by Margaret Peterson Haddix and it is so good! Even though it was written by her it isn't her average Sci-fi, it is a historical fiction about three girls in about 1910 and how they were affected and involved in the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, the strikes that had been going on at the time, and the suffrage movement. It was a really good book!

Solo Ensemble

At the solo ensemble I got a 1 on my oboe solo and a 1+ on my piano solo! i'm so happy! A 1+ is the highest you can get! :D :D

I just thought I'd write some stuff I've read and seen lately since I haven't had anything to write about really since Honor Band! Right now I'm reading the Hearts of the Children series and so far I've liked them, it's the sequel series to the Children of the Promise Series and I saw Bride Wars recently and it's really funny :-)

Honor Band!

Hey everyone! I went to Honor Band for my first year on the twelfth and thirteenth and I had SO much fun! We ended up playing for almost 14 hours in two days! I was worried that my lips would fall off! But it was amazing! We got four songs together in two days and one of the songs we got the day of! I really liked it and I'm looking forward to High School because there should be a lot more of stuff like that! :-)
